Today I went to my nephew Justin's b-day party. And the theme was Spiderman! He had the plates, cups, napkins, and kick-ass cake. My nephew's have the greatest party themes. One of my sister's friends was actually bigger than my dad. My dad is about 6'5, and this guy had to have been 6'8. It totally crushed my inner child's belief that my dad was the tallest man in the whole world. Oh well. My dad's girlfriend Barb and I were totally quoting Dodgeball and Napoleon Dynamite the whole time. Good times.
Later on I went to the city with Ron and Andy. We went to see this band play, Jake Leg, with whom I befriended on Myspace. They played at Cal's Bar, which was this hole in the wall place. But it was still cool. After their set, I chatted with Jake Leg for a little while. They're from southern Ohio, so they had the full on southern accents. They were really chill guys, and they might come back up next month. And I shall be there!
We then came back to Brookfield, lost Ron, gained Matt, and walked over to Phil's Sports Bar by the train station. It was karaoke night, and it was awesome! This one guy drunkenly rapped "Mama Said Knock You Out". Excellent! Matt and I played some pool, while Andy shook his head at every single shot I took. I somehow won the first game, but lost the next. The tie shall be broken!!!
